Pricing and Servings
For party cakes, one standard serving is based on a 1.5 x 2 inch wedged slice for most cakes. Square and sheet cakes are a 2 x 2 inch piece.
For wedding cakes, the standard measurements for one serving is a 1 x 2 x cake height (approx. 4 1/2) inches. After a large meal people may only want a little taste but if you are only serving hors d’oeuvres you may want to consider ordering extra cake. If you are worried that the design you have your heart set on (or the design you can afford) isn’t going to be enough, don't worry! You may choose to supplement your decorated cake with a kitchen cake...or you can get more servings by increasing the size of each tier by 2 – 4 inches or by adding satellite cakes around the main tower. Most couples like to save the top layer of their wedding cake to be eaten on their first anniversary, so its number of servings should not be counted in the number of servings you need for your guests.
Party Cake Servings and Price
Our birthday, shower, and other special occasion cakes are usually 2 layers, iced and filled with our signature buttercream, with the exception of sheet cakes which are one layer and not filled. However, sheet cakes can be filled for an additional charge. If you desire, the cakes can be torted to be 4 layers and filled with different types of fillings for an additional cost.

The price of our wedding cakes includes:
- your choice of a cake flavor(s)
- your choice of filling
- our italian meringue buttercream frosting or our signature buttercream
Our wedding cakes are 4 layers of cake with 3 layers of filling, which could be custard, jam, italian meringue buttercream or other. Italian meringue buttercream is made from real butter and is not as sweet as the american kind that most are used to. This makes it a perfect filling and/or frosting. You may choose different flavors for each tier at no additional charge.
Gumpaste and/or royal flowers and decoration, as well as more elaborate designs are available at an additional cost. Due to the individual attention we give to the design of each cake, please schedule an appointment or consultation to discuss the overall cost of your cake.Groom's cakes and kitchen cakes are also available.
