Sweet Intentions by the Morgans

We are husband and wife, friends, and parents to an adorable little girl.  We are christian home-based cake and confectionery artisans that have been baking and in the kitchen since we can remember.  We are located in Galesburg, but will travel anywhere if you so desire our services.

We are truly a husband and wife team...Antonio (a physicist) does most of the baking and prep work, and Clarice (a pharmacist) does some baking, the designing and decorating.  We usually deliver the orders together.

We specialize in unique flavor combinations and offering beautiful, custom cake designs and homestyle cakes/confections.  We believe that our creations should be pleasing to the eye, as well as to the palate.  Each cake or confection is custom; made-from-scratch from start to finish.  

So how did a physicist and a pharmacist become cake artists, You Ask??? We did not have any formal culinary training, just God-given talent.  Our culinary education came from our grandmothers, mothers, fathers and aunts--can't get any better than that.   (And living in New Orleans for 14 years didn't hurt either!!)  We are truly blessed to have each other, the passion for baking & creating, and for what God has allowed up to accomplish.
